Setting Up Your Arculus Wallet
Unbox Your Arculus Wallet:
Carefully unbox your Arculus Wallet. Inside the box, you should find the Arculus Wallet card, an instruction manual, and possibly additional materials such as a USB cable if needed.
Download the Arculus App:
Visit the official Arculus website or the App Store/Google Play Store on your mobile device. Search for the Arculus app and download it.
Install the App:
Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Arculus app on your mobile device.
Initial Wallet Setup
Open the Arculus App:
Open the app on your mobile device and select "Get Started."
Create a New Wallet:
Choose the option to create a new wallet. The app will prompt you to set up a secure PIN code. This code will be used to access your wallet.
Pair Your Arculus Wallet Card:
Follow the app instructions to pair your Arculus Wallet card with the app. This typically involves holding the card close to your mobile device to establish a connection via NFC (Near Field Communication).
Backup Your Recovery Phrase:
The app will generate a recovery phrase consisting of 12, 18, or 24 words. Write down this phrase and store it in a secure location. This recovery phrase is crucial for recovering your wallet if your device is lost or damaged. Never share your recovery phrase with anyone.
Confirm Your Recovery Phrase:
To ensure you've correctly noted your recovery phrase, the app will prompt you to confirm the phrase by selecting the correct words in the correct order.
